Okay, so I love that everyone is becoming a Notion girlie, but the content is giving very beige and regurgitated. When I was looking for a spicy/interesting Notion YouTube vid for the spicy links section, I struggled.
When I looked at new uploads this week I saw three main categories: notion tour, goals/reset and some kind of functional tutorial.
Where are the baecations/girls trip/supper clubs powered by Notion videos? Where are the ‘I made my girlfriend a treasure hunt in Notion’ videos (cough cough, future bae, cough cough). Where are the inter-railing across Europe with Notion videos?! Dream future content: I would love to do a reality-style trip somewhere with Notion a la the Simple Life (iykyk).

In this new age where technology is becoming a part of our daily lives, it would be so easy to weave Notion into lifestyle content. Notion tours are interesting, but like, it’s kind of already been done, you know. Other idea - I am *dying* to see one of those dating wrapped videos, but in Notion form… maybe I’ll make that a Notion flip…

I won’t lie, discovering the format painter back when I was learning Microsoft Word as a youth (respect to Clippy) that made me feel like computers were magic.
We don’t have this yet in Notion BUT editing tables in Notion just got a little bit easier. You can now select entire sections of a table (including across columns) to update at once 🎉

If you haven’t been on the Notion Reddit and you consider yourself a Notion nerd, honestly, impressive!
The Notion Reddit is huge (255k). It’s probably what I like to call the ‘dark web’ of the Notion world - like, there is so much content in there. Frequently explore if you are brave - I’m unfortunately a wuss and suffer with content overload when in large forums like that, so I’ll stick to Twitter.
Regardless congrats to the Reddit team, including Ben Smith, below (who if you don’t know is absolute Notion wizard)

I love this unique use case! I can imagine having your guitar lessons mapped out in Notion is really useful for students to find the your resources quickly, map your progress etc. Is this the future?!
I think if you’re a coach/teacher of any sort, Notion is a great place to spin up a course map. I use one in my course and it seems to be working pretty well!

As someone who’s life as driven by sound/music, creating soundscapes in Notion is a super innovative + cool idea! Can’t wait for this to drop 🙌🏾 Loving all the nature elements
It reminds of the pandemic hit, I Miss My Bar , which fueled other hits like I Miss My Cafe & I Miss the Office, which both embed directly into Notion - I Miss My Cafe also has a pomodoro timer!

📺 Cooking drama: I love design-thinking/competition shows, behavioural psychology/science and food. Two things you must watch on Netflix are Pressure Cooker and Cook at All Costs. Pressure cooker is like any cooking show with a dash of Big Brother thrown in. While Cook at all Costs tests contestants willingness to pay for ‘prized’ ingredients.
🎶 Album I’m loving: I have been playing All I Want is You on repeat for like, a week. Before the TikTok trend, I’d already rekindled my love for Sure Thing, and then TikTok trend just made stronger, I suppose. But I will say this is one of those times the TikTok sped up version has nothing on the original, which is a masterpiece, objectively. Anyways, Miguel, when are you touring?
