This week I started a new workspace project with a well-known ecommerce brand. Big project → big client portal. But don’t get me twisted, building critical paths is my superbowl!
My first introduction to building Notion systems was building client portals at my last day job - project managing at a Shopify agency. I still swear by Notion client portals for my Notion consulting projects and coaching calls.
In fact, Notion is quickly becoming the tool of choice for freelancer project management. No wonder my freelancer client portal template has been downloaded more than 100 times.

I won’t lie, as someone who uses paper on the daily, I resonate with this a lot! I personally use Notion as my ‘mind palace’: organiser of all things-to-be-done, as well as a way to store resources. However, when it comes to daily task management, I’m still a paper babe. There is something incredibly satisfying about physically scratching off your task list. Like all things in life, you need to find balance. Your routine/organisation doesn’t have to be fully digital, just like your tech stack doesn’t need to be fully Notion - do what works for you.
