✨ BIG NOTION ENERGY: Jerry Lorenzo | Founder, Fear of God ✨

First of all, you don’t have to use Notion to have Big Notion Energy. In fact, I have no idea if Jerry Lorenzo/Fear of God use Notion. But what I do know is that after listening to this Business of Fashion podcast, he definitely has it.

The ultimate goal with Fear of God is to build clothes that last and create style that transcends time, through the spirit of ‘American Luxury’. The brand is evolving authentically and its values seep through to everything from store (‘atmosphere’) ambience to production. Everything is intentional.

I’d definitely put Fear of God/brands like Fear of God who possess ‘Big Notion Energy’ on the ‘Dream Client’ list. Brands who are so feverishly ‘for the Culture’ and it seeps into everything they do, including their processes

First of all, I’m obsessed with this! I love seeing Notion used for creative projects like this (quick plug to my course that teaches thisss).

Koromone is a Nigerian spoken word artist who’s just released Euphonious Musings her debut poetry album. She’s used Notion to build a landing page where you can find out more about her work and each piece. OBSESSED.

When I first started out in the Notion world, I loved Notion to as a medium to create an experience ‘around the music’ (see Beyoncé & Channel Orange visual album templates). I had a dream of artists using Notion to support their launches - able to embed behind the scenes snippets to each piece - embedding voice notes or embellishing on words like I did in this poetry piece.

Digital merch, if you will. I’d love to see this become a trend for artists, potentially building a few myself! I could imagine immersive zines for album launches 🤤
